Next to playing the game, nothing is better than reading, writing and researching about cricket.

I’ve been fortunate to spend my career teaching History in the university sector; latterly, I’ve been writing more about the history of cricket – especially that played in villages from the early 18th century onwards.

This site is intended as a place where I can gather all of that writing in one accessible place to share with anyone who is interested.
